Superteams II and Power Quad

Following on from the recent successful event scottishathletics have launched Superteams II which is a virtual event for athletes in the U11, U13 and u15 age groups. The competition will be form July 13th to 26th with athletes taking part in two events per week. Guidance and instructions will be given later. Parents will send the results weekly to the club who will in turn collate them and send for inclusion in the National Leaderboards.

After the great success of the club members exclusive 3k and 5k virtual challenges, and the sal 1 mile virtual challenge. An impressive 58 club members took part in at least some of the challenges and we can now announce that the sal relay challenge is next up for inclusion in our road series 2020.

Roads Champs Update

The club’s exclusive virtual challenges continued over the weekend of 12th to 14th June, with 20 members taking advantage of this event to test themselves over a 5k course. Another fantastic turnout for these solo efforts. Well done to all who took part. Three times round the football stadium seemed to be a popular choice of fast, flat course for many of the competitors, and so it was with the quickest Vic in the event, who was Gary McKenna. Congratulations Gary on a great time of 18:00. Fastest female was Caitlyn Christie, who chose a canal setting for her excellent 19:56.
