Falkirk Victoria Harriers caters for runners and athletes of all ages and abilities. We are a competing club, participating in various competitions and athletics leagues around Scotland throughout the year, including track & field, road running and cross-country.

Training groups are based mainly in the Falkirk district although we have members throughout the country. New members are always welcome - click here for details.

T&F Championship Results

Firstly a huge thanks to all our fantastic volunteers and officials who helped deliver another very successful day - even the sun appeared. For those volunteers wishing to learn more about Officiating please see the article on mentoring on our home page.The event results can be viewed here.

The performances will now be turned into points and totaled for each athlete to determine the placings in each age group/gender. This will take some time so please be patient.

Club Officials Mentoring Prog

Officials play a vital role in the athletics structure with clubs required to put forward their quota of officials at each league meeting, Points towards the teams scores are awarded (or deducted) accordingly For example at the first CSSAL match our athletes won the competition by 30 points, but when officials points were factored in we dropped to second by 7 points! Obviously this is disappointing for all concerned.

June Updates - Club Records, T&F Champs, Team Selection, Event Specific, National Champs, GAA

Club Records have now been updated following recent fine performances with congratulations to the following Olivia Varielle (U20 400m indoors).While on the outdoors new records have been set by Lorna Brown (Masters Shot) Victoria Anestik (U13 Jav) Rosie Sharples (U17 Shot) Kane Elliott (U20 1500m) The full club records can be viewed here - if you have a claim for one please read the criteria then use the electronic form if you meet it. Thanks goes to Willie Day for his diligence in identify

T&F Updates

The track and field events are now coming thick and fast whether it be Leagues, District Champs, Schools or OGM's. Well done to all who took part in the Districts and performed so well either by medalling or more importantly setting a new PB, also good luck to those entered into any of the schools events.

The leagues see the Men's and Women's leagues underway along with the Upper YDL. The next few weeks see's the FVL and CSSAL leagues starting. So it is a very busy time for athletes, coaches. officials, volunteers and of course the parents.

Road Race Champs Update

Well done to all those who have taken part in the series so far, after three races the latest positions are here. Please note that the next race is the Meadows 5k on 12th June full details are here  After that there will be a break for the summer holidays. The Marathon updates are taken from Grant Matheson's knowledge of any runners that he knows to have run a marathon.
