January Updates AGM, Bursaries, Handicap & Roads, Cross Country, National Championships & Youth Council

Jim Dingwall Bursaries: We are delighted to announce that this year we have awarded the top amount available to both Katy McGonigal and Jessica Christie. Both girls have demonstrated how well they are balancing their studies whilst remaining committed to their club in competition and assistance, not to mention still making continued improvement in athletics whist studying.Katy commented that "I am very delighted and honoured to have received the bursary. I am grateful to Jim Dingwall’s family for funding this award as I can use it to help pay for the gym, track and the travel cost to compete with FVH while still being able to undergo my studies at university".   Jessica said "I am delighted to be awarded the Jim Dingwall bursary. Having been a member of the club for 10 years I am familiar with the history that Jim Dingwall had with the club. This money will help towards my training and competing costs whilst studying for my degree in sports science at university. My thanks go to the Dingwall family and the club for this support."  More info on these bursaries can be found here.
