Here we are in peak season with events coming thick and fast whether it be on the roads or indeed T&F with our athletes more than stepping up to the plate with some remarkable performances. Kane Elliott smashing the U17 Scottish 1500m record and bagging a European Youth Championship mark. Kane's time3.46:84 ranks him No1 in the UK!, No1 in Europe!! and No 2 in the World rankings!!!! In the all time U17 UK rankings it puts him 3rd ahead of many current and past internationalists including Steve Cram. Further to Kane's amazing performance Grant Plenderleith was selected for GB and Scotland vests with Ciaran Wright and Allan Smith also being selected for Scotland. Other athletes have also been picked for Scottish representation at schools or university level - well done to all athletes and of course their coaches.
In the leagues the Men's team are doing very well and currently sitting in second place after two meetings with the Women's team also sitting well placed in the SWAL. Meanwhile our teams in the FVL and CSSAL are in mid table.
